[ THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN ]

Genesis 1:3 records an extraordinary command:

God spoke — and there was light.

This was before the sun and moon were appointed as lights in the heavens. The moment became the inspiration for Genesis — a design built around the contrast of darkness and light and the power of God’s spoken word.

[ MEANING IN THE DETAILS ]

Black & White Marble Stone — represents darkness and light.

Handmade Glow Center — represents the light God commanded to come forth, intentionally shining from the center of the design.

Copper Accents — frame the light at the center.

Hebrew Engraving — translates to “In the Beginning,” connecting the blade to the opening words of Genesis.

Each element was intentionally chosen so the knife itself could tell the story.

[ THE MESSAGE ]

The light in Genesis points us forward to Jesus, the Light of the World.

For us, that light is also a reminder: even when life brings seasons of darkness, His light remains within us. We are called to carry it and reflect it into the world around us.

Darkness does not overcome the light.

That is the heart behind Genesis.
